Marketing Promotions: Standard Procedures
To ensure consistency and accuracy in how marketing promotions are launched and communicated, the following procedures must be followed:
1. Supervisor Approval Before any marketing special or promotion is published or submitted for implementation:
-
The team member must confirm the special with their direct supervisor.
2. Submitting to Marketing Center (Zendesk Ticket System) Once a promotion is approved, a ticket must be submitted to the Zendesk Marketing Center. The ticket should include the following details:
-
Type of Special: (e.g., rent discount, waived fees, limited-time offer, etc.)
-
Qualifications: Who is eligible for the special? (e.g., new applicants only, move-in by specific date, etc.)
-
Disclaimer Information: Any necessary legal or clarifying language that should be included in marketing materials.
-
Start and End Date: Clearly define when the special begins and ends.
-
If there is no defined end date, the team member is responsible for submitting a follow-up ticket when the special is to be concluded.
-
3. Website and ILS Updates Once the Zendesk ticket is processed and approved:
-
Marketing will update all relevant platforms, including the property's website and Internet Listing Services (ILS), with the new special and appropriate disclaimers
